When it comes to documentaries BBC has got ’em nailed down… The last documentary featuring David Attenborough I watched was “Blue Planet” which was all about ocean life; which if you haven’t seen, I highly recommend renting/buying the DVD’s. Epic. However..

And a big however…

This new program “Planet Earth” which also features Attenborough as the narrator, is making my jaw drop. So far only 2 of the 5 shows have aired, and I’m simply floored by the cinematography and overall production quality of the series. They are showing places on earth, animals, and migration habits that I’ve never even heard of.

Rainforests cover only 3% of the planet but support half of all plants and animals

I can’t wait to catch the rest of the series, but I figured I’d try and spread the word before the premier is over.

Thanks for the heads up. I love these kinds of shows.

A friend of mine found that “Blue Planet” DVD a while back, I hope to see it soon.
