Free Xbox Live Download (48 hrs only)
Xbox Live turns 5 today and in honour of that, Microsoft is offering a free Xbox Live Arcade Game download on Nov 15 and 16 only.
As a gesture of thanks to the gaming community, all eight million members will have the opportunity to download the Xbox LIVE Arcade game Carcassone FREE between 12:01 A.M. PDT on Nov. 15 and 11:59 P.M. PDT on Nov. 16*. In addition to this, every active member who joined the service in 2002 will receive 500 free Microsoft Points.
Carcassone is an adaptation of an old board game. Gamespot likes it and gave it a 7.5 which is decent for a free game.
Carcassonne’s strategic gameplay doesn’t require the patient type to appreciate. It’s a quickly paced game that has you building cities, roads, monasteries, and farmlands by placing tiles strategically across a game board. Carassonne is a rather dry interpretation of the game, going light on the bells and whistles found in many other Live Arcade downloads. But the addictive strategy of the gameplay is undeniable, and the online support for up to five total players gives the game plenty of legs

There is one choice - Carcasonne - which is why I put the little info thing on the post.
BUT
It is free and anyone with any level of membership can get it. I only have a “Silver” membership and I dl’d it yesterday. Go to games, then Carcasonne and it’ll say “Free” beside the download. The bonus was 500 pts if you joined in ‘02.
So quit yer complaining and go get something for free :P
