Halloween Goodies Beware

Ian Harding October 22nd, 2008

‘Tis the season for spooks, scares, costumes, pumpkins, and of course… candy.

But beware, there are some that may not be in your best interest. I was informed by a coworker today that Sherwood Brands Pirate’s Gold Milk Chocolate Coins may be Contaminated with Melamine, as stated by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. I don’t plan to be doing any trick-or-treating this year (since I haven’t in many years), but for anyone with kids… you’ve been warned.

Oh and, if anyone else finds or hears about specific candies to watch out for, go ahead and leave a comment.
