So why do I keep on flogging it? Because like insurance companies and bank fees, mobile phone costs are one of the only things that gets Canadians riled up it seems.

Canada lags other developed nations in mobile phone ownership, falling behind a global average of 30 countries, says an international survey being released today.

Apple Inc. will not be selling the hotly awaited iPhone in its six Canadian stores when it is released this Friday, leaving Rogers Communications Inc. and its Fido subsidiary to sell the device on their own.
